Vidarbha Education Society has established Common Service Centres (CSC) in rural areas at Panchayat Level which enables rural people to do Online Banking, Railway Reservation, Generate Employment etc.,.

 

Vidarbha Education Society has signed a MoU with MARKERR FILMS for social educational film development.

 

Vidarbha Education Society has produced a film called GREEN SPEAKS (based on environment & ecology) directed by VIKRAM SINGH PARIHAR with co-ordination of MARKERR FILMS.

 

 

M E T H O D O L OG Y

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

l After registration admission may be done on the basis of:

      Direct Admission

      Merit Basis

      Entrance Test

      Eligibility Test or

      Any other admission criteria.

As applicable according to programme applied by the applicant.

l In some programmes 30% quota of seats in their respective streams will be filled on the basis of ‘First Come First Serve’.

l At the time of admission all the required documents should be submitted with prescribed necessary fee according to programme applied.

l Registration fee/ Admission fee/ Academic fee/ Programme fee/ Examination fee/ other fee should be paid in cash / DD of any Nationalized Bank/ ICICI Bank/ HDFC Bank in favor of “Vidarbha Education Society” payble at Chandrapur.

l Candidate who have not completed their qualifying examination or who have appeared in the final examination and awaiting their results can also register name in the college.

l Admission will be made twice in a year.

EXAMINATION

l University examination will be held twice in a year at the end of each semester.

l All the practical/ theory examination will be held in a college/ examination centre allotted by University.

SCHOLERSHIP

l In certain cases scholarship criteria will be applicable on the following basis.

                On meritorious basis

                On caste basis

                Other.

ATTENDANCE

College is committed to the principle that academic class attendance is essential to the student’s optimum scholastic achievement.

Regular class attendance is a student obligation and a student is responsible for all the work, including tests and written work assigned in class.

A student should have maintain minimum 75% attendance in all the academic classes to become eligible for appearing in examination.

INDEBTEDNESS TO THE COLLEGE

No degree, diploma, certificate or transcript of a record will be issued to a student who has not made a satisfactory settlement with the cashier for all   indebtedness to the college. A student may not be permitted to attend classes or final examinations after the due date of any unpaid dues.

CHANGE OF NAME AND ADDRESS

It is the obligation of every student to inform the College Office of any change in name, address or phone number. Failure to do so can cause serious delay in the handling of the student records and in notification of emergencies at home.

SYLLABUS CONTENTS

Any updation in the syllabus contents of any programme can be done as par the industry demands and various technological developments made or as par change in environment.

FEES STRUCTURE

l Admission fee                :  As prescribed

l Programme fee              :  As prescribed

l Examination fee           :  As prescribed

l Academic fee                 : If applicable

l Development fee           : Rs. 500.00

l Other fee                         :  If applicable

DAMAGES  TO  COLLEGE  PROPERTY

l Student will be responsible individually or collectively (as the case may be) for any loss or damage to the property of the college.

l A student is liable to be fined, suspended,  expelled or dealt with reasonable punishment for negligence in studies, attendance, and breach of discipline or any misconduct. Any student indulging in anti-government, national or anti-college propaganda will be expelled from the college immediately and he/she will have no claim on fees paid by him/her.

A student may be compelled to leave the college at any time on the following grounds:

l When his/her conduct is unsatisfactory.

l When damage is caused to college property deliberately.

l When payment of fees and dues are not made within the prescribed period.

l When the student found in agitation, political activities or acts prejudicial to the college.

l When his/her health conditions are unsatisfactory.

l When suitable response is not forthcoming from his / her parent / guardian to communication issued by the college or when the parent / guardian withdraw in writing the surety furnished for the student.

l If any Information furnished in the application to be found incorrect.

l When his / her activities are found detrimental to the interest of the college staff and other student.

l If found taking part in gambling or any other immortal acts.

MANAGEMENT RIGHTS

The management reserves to itself the right to make additions or alternations to the existing rules, working hours, time table, and mode of training as may be deemed necessary from time to time. The student shall be required to abide by the rules that are in force and that may be enforced in future from time to time.

ACADEMIC INFORMATION AND REGULATION

Each student is responsible or informing himself or herself of academic regulations and requirements.

NOTICE BOARD

It is the duty of all the students to take a note of all notices displayed on the notice board for their information and compliance. Failure to read the notice displayed on the notice board will not be taken an excuse for non-compliance.

IDENTITY CARD

After the start of academic session each student will be issued an Identity Card. It is mandatory for all students to have the Identity Card and to wear it constantly displayed on the chest in the college premises.

LIBRARY

College will provide all necessary books, journals, magazines, etc., as per the syllabus contents. Each student will be issued a Library card.

REFUND POLICY

Fees once paid are neither refundable nor transferable to other course on any grounds.
